“We had a wonderful stay at this motel. The staff were incredibly courteous, kind, and helpful, answering all our questions about the accommodations and the surrounding area. The efficiency apartment was spotless and welcoming, and the beds were comfortable for a restful night's sleep.Additionally, the beach is just a short drive away—only a couple of miles. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay”

“Simple but clean and well-placed accommodations. One night stay during a road trip at OBX. Perfectly placed as a staging point for our next day's itinerary of visiting Hatteras and Ocracoke. Minimal kitchen supplies, but all we needed for reheating some leftovers. IT would have been difficult to cook "homemade" meals. Also, FYI the hot tub/pool facilities are at the main hotel about a mile away, not at the cottage itself. Not a problem for my trip, but may confuse others. ”

“traveled off season (dec) but the area was central to the places we were visiting. Took some planning to find restaurants open this time of year. The house was very clean and hot tub was a great addition to our visit. host picked up right away with a question regarding getting in the place! lots of suggestions were in the email sent to use prior to checkin”

“Very clean with cute decor and plenty of space! We enjoyed the house very much. My only comment would be that in the listing, it describes being a 3 min walk to OBX beaches. However, that is for the OBX Motel property which owns this house, and not this house itself. It was about a 7 min drive to the nearest beach from this property. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. Other than that, excellent property and property management. ”

“What an amazing place to stay! The house is located right on the beach and part of a hotel property. They were still cleaning up from the hurricane storm but we could hardly tell. They went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of ”

“We stayed 12 nights at the Surfin C Gull. Upon arrival, the Front Door Lock and Entry Code worked perfectly... a first for us. We looked around and found the house was very clean and the appliances were new. The king bed mattresses were very firm... a little too much for me, but good for my wife. The big screen Sharp/Roku TV in the living room worked well; we were able to cast our DirecTV app's output to it without problem. We found we were short of bath towels; I texted our host Leslie and……
