The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Karen and Chris, were welcoming and even communicated with us prior to our arrival to alert us to the potential for early check-in. 「This was a perfect place with three teenage kids and a Golden! The Sound offered water play and Sunsets like we’ve never seen before. The closed in sun porch quickly became a reading room. 「This was our favorite location yet in the Outer Banks. Situated a couple of blocks from the ocean and only a few blocks from the Currituck Lighthouse, this charming casita provided my husband and me with our favorite parts of the Outer Banks. The house itself was perfect for us with a large kitchen and family room area and two bedrooms and bathrooms — all new and beautifully furnished. It’s also pet friendly so we could bring our beloved golden retriever! We couldn’t have enjoyed our visit more!」

「Everything was nice and clean. The sleeper sofa is thin and uncomfortable so I wouldn't plan on using that for a bed but everything else was nice. Host was helpful and location was great. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Great property to enjoy some time right by the beach! Little strange that no linens or items for the bathroom such as a foot mat or towels are included - you will need to bring all of that on your own. The unit could also use a deep clean as in numerous areas, it was incredibly dusty or I could see hair from previous stays. This was not a huge deal to us however as our stay was short and the host was helpful in allowing early check in.」

「The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...

「Seems strange but the property was all but empty, off season, yet the room above us was booked with noisy guests and we were put in a room with a parking lot view when better views were available. Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!」

「Property included lots of activities for families - shuffleboard, table tennis and indoor pool were our favorites. Everything was clean and stocked ( pots, extra bedding) and included free laundry machines! 」
