“As an older hotel, it has a few cosmetic things but nothing major. Very quiet but also off season- great rate!! We had an issue with the blow dryer which was taken care of very quickly by maintenance. Enjoyed our stay”

“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “I enjoy going to the Outer Banks off season when it's a bit cooler and there are a lot less people. We wanted to be able to have a house close to the beach that also provided some privacy and we wanted a hot tub. “This was a spectacular visit to the OBX! The house was clean and beautiful all around. The coffee/tea bar was exquisite and the hot tub was lovely after a long day of fun/physical recreation. “This place is a family favorite that we return to again and again no matter the season. Friendly customer service, clean, nice breakfast, lots of room and good use of space. The decor, including the cool lamps, are icing on the cake. Of course we all love the indoor pool and hot tub.”
