The oceanfront view was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the sound of the waves and endless ocean views made the trip unimaginably special.The home was spacious, wonderfully maintained, and ideal for family fun, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and spend time together. Being right on the beach during winter months was a huge bonus. No crowds & the weather was mild enough to enjoy mid-morning walks, and evening sunsets.This house created unforgettable memories for our family, and it truly felt like a special place to celebrate such a milestone. We would definitely recommend Salty Treat to anyone looking for a beautiful oceanfront stay in the OBX."

"We had a great New Years’s vacation at this place. Hands down the best part is the hot tub overlooking the sound - hot tub sunsets are a must! But the rest of the house was great too. Jamie was super responsive every time we had a question and that helped a lot. We did experience some WiFi issues - it was shotty most of the time but really only impacted us when we couldn’t watch a movie on TV. Our phones worked just fine. The house came equipped with everything we needed for staying in, cooking meals, and being comfortable. We will def be coming back! "

"This was our first family vacation in 10 years and I will say it was amazing. The house was perfect. Steps away from the beach. When you look at the listing you never know what you are going to get but I will say everything stated was there. We cooked in every night and had plenty of cookware. Kitchen was fully stocked!! We had 2 little ones with us and it was perfect being so close to the beach and the rooms worked out great for us. The table fitted all of us so dinners and family game night was great!!! Highly recommend this house to all!!! We actually had a visitor come to our door who is renting the house next year…he was super nice and also loved the house!!! "
