“Beautiful Mountain View’s”

“What can we say about this place? It was great. The staff were well accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast was good but the newest thing was the outdoor patio and the chairs out in the backyard. They were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. And if you have an electric car hybrid, they have a plug-in for it. You just have to ask them to turn it on and you can charge your car.”

“We checked in around 8pm and were greeted by the front desk staff was fantastic. They interacted with my 11-year-old great-niece in the best way. Sharing jokes and talking to her directly on her level. Of course, the adults felt comfortable and welcome as well. The pool was very nice and clean. The room was nice as well. We had no issues.”

“Property was very, very comfortable, clean and convenient. Well equipped. Extremely comfortable beds. We all slept like babies. Pretty yard and surrounding area. Highly recommend.”

“The good:- we were able to gather a large family together in one place for a memorial service.- There was plenty of parking.The Bad: -The host was hard to reach and slow to respond- There was a lack of linens, ie there were not the same number of towels and wash cloths as there were allowed occupants in the rooms- They were apparently overbooked as there were at least 3 other parties that came into the space we thought we had completely rented for our stay.- The showers should have handheld……

“I did not stay at this property due to a double booking. I stayed at a nearby house that needs to be cleaned better, specially the floors, a shower curtain needs to be added to the beautiful update in bathroom, some plates woukd be nice. House rules and check in, check out procedures, places to visit and eat nearby would have been helpful to have posted at the house. Overall was a decent place to stay, quiet neighborhood. I would at least consider staying again.”

“It was clean and the shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. There weren't conveniently placed electrical outlets, and no USB chargers. For the same amount of money, you can have nicer accommodations elsewhere. ”

“We stayed for the 95th Mountain Laurel Festival and LOVED the location, access to all festival activities, and how easy it was to communicate with the renter. We hope to make this a tradition and will stay here again!”

“Location is convenient to shops and Cumberland Gap Park. The owner was quick to remedy a problem with the air conditioner. The house does have the amount of beds to sleep the listed amount of guests. The place would benefit from having enough bath towels for the number of guests it can accommodate. I took my own towels after reviewing a previous post. Extra toilet paper and plenty of hand soap in bathrooms would be nice as well. The other recommendation would be more chairs to eat at a table……

“Wonderful home in downtown Middlesboro. Home was immaculate and well stocked. Super cute and host was very accommodating and nice to work with. We’ll be back when in the area ”

“The house was clean (spotless) and everything was as advertised and welcoming. The 3-bedroom was plenty for my family and the beds were comfortable. John was easy to communicate with as well. We just stayed the night this time but if needed we'll definitely consider renting from him again.”
