Located within Shanty Creek Resort, you’ll be minutes from Michigan’s top championship golf courses, scenic hiking and biking trails, and sparkling lakes. Spend summer days boating, fishing, or swimming at Torch Lake, Lake Bellaire, or Intermediate Lake. In fall, enjoy breathtaking Schuss Mountain Fall Color Chairlift Rides (Sept 27–Oct 19). Winter brings world-class skiing at Schuss Mountain, tubing at Summit Mountain, and miles of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Ride-sharing options such as Uber and Lyft operate in the Bellaire area, but availability can be limited — especially during peak ski season, summer lake weekends, or fall color tour events like the Schuss Mountain Fall Chairlift Rides (Sept 27–Oct 19). For the best experience, we recommend bringing your own vehicle or arranging a rental to fully explore the area's lakes, golf, and ski destinations.

We had a great experience here! The A-frame is beautiful and it's clear that a lot of careful attention went into making this a comfortable and relaxing stay for guests. The communication and hospitality was top notch and our kids enjoyed being able to swim at the hotel pool.
