Gather your family and friends for an unforgettable getaway at I’ll Be Back, a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath condo located directly on the slopes of Schuss Mountain in Shanty Creek’s Cedar River Village. With two full living spaces, a kitchen and bar area on each level, and two gas fireplaces, this home is designed for families who love to relax, connect, and play together.

Guests rave about the perfect ski-in/ski-out location — step right out the sliding glass door and onto the slopes. No shuttles, no waiting — just skiing, snowboarding, and easy access back inside for lunch by the fire. In warmer months, enjoy access to the Cedar River outdoor pool, nearby golf, and all the resort’s walking and biking trails.

Inside, the condo is larger than expected, easily accommodating multiple families or groups up to 10. The open-concept main floor features a full kitchen, dining area, cozy fireplace, and large windows looking out over the ski hill. Downstairs, a second living area with its own kitchen/bar offers the perfect hangout zone for kids, teens, or another family.

Guests appreciate that it’s clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, with plenty of warm bedding, fast Wi-Fi, and TVs in both living areas and the master bedroom. The two washers and dryers make longer stays a breeze.

A great winter break getaway

We had a great weekend getaway at "I'll be Back". My husband and I went for a ski weekend with our two teenagers for our winter break. The location of the condo was wonderful and very convenient for skiing. The condo was very large and comfortable and the owners/managers were extemely helpful and communicative when we had questions. The only negative that I could mention is that the interior was a little aged, and the carpet could use replacing, but it did not effect our stay at all. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this condo again.

Perfect location

This is the best location for families at Schuss. No hauling skis and kids up the hill. This is literally ski in/ski out. The view of the hill is beautiful. The condo it huge, clean and had the amenities we needed for a long weekend. There was a strange issue with the heat, were it would turn itself down to 55 degrees in the middle of the night. My kids and parents, downstairs, woke up freezing. It's also a little dated and worn in carpet, furniture and beds. Honestly though, you're paying for the location and view. Would definitely rent again.

Great location, perfect for a family ski trip

We had a couple of families share the condo and it was perfect -- right on the ski slope! Grandma and grandpa got to watch the little ones ski by. Condo was well stocked and in good condition. Swimming in the outdoor pool was also a hit! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Needs Updating and carpet cleaning

The condo is a great location. The carpeting in the living room was torn and there were spots on the stair carpeting and the carpeting throughout. We would most likely rent again due to the excellent ski in/ski out location.

The 10 of us

We won’t be back. The condo was comfortable and spacious and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. However, when we arrived the dishes In the dishwasher were dirty, the garbage can was on top of the kitchen shelf and the rest of the kitchen had not been cleaned. There were no sheets on the master bedroom bed. A note had been left by some unknown person saying the cleaning person left before they did and the sheets were in the dryer. Now imagine being excited for several months about having family meet us for a vacation at this condo and walking in to find it this way. We wondered who had been there, why the cleaner had left BEFORE they did, and was the rest of the place even clean? It was upsetting. We called the Northern Lights number and Tressia apologized and said she would be over. She did come and cleaned while waiting for the sheets to dry.....then made the bed and left. We had to wait for her to be done before we could unpack our car. It was not a good start to our vacation and left us with a bad impression. Also the living room carpeting was quite dirty and there were no chairs on the upstairs deck.

Great place for a larger group!

This condo was exactly what our extended family needed for our trip to a family wedding! Plenty of beds and bathrooms, lots of room both upstairs and downstairs to gather as a group, located close to grocery stores and gas stations. We would love to stay here again with more time to explore the area!

Incredible location and perfect hosts

This property is in a perfect location for a family ski get away. Being right on the slopes allows the group to meet up often for quick snack and lets the grandparents waive from the comfort of the living by the fire. The condo was family friendly with games and everything needed in the kitchen. Hosts communication was perfect. We couldn't ask for anything more!

March trip for truck climb

Condo Was a little further from schuss village than I had hoped. Master bed was uncomfortable. There were tons of ants in the lower level kitchen and the upstairs floors were dirty. Master bathroom sink doesn’t drain well. We couldn’t reach a shuttle driver with the number provided in the book. Very spacious for our group.
