Stopping to take in the view on the Armidale-Kempsey Road. This one is of my parents who taught me from a young age thats its about the journey and not the destination. They took us on some amazing camping trips when we were kids. These experiences are what I most remember about my childhood. We are now passing that on to our kids and I know the travel bug will keep alive and well in our family. These two crackers are still getting all over Australia (kids free these days) although we did get on this epic road trip to the Bass Lodge with them a few years ago. Loved the spacious home, soft carpet, and quirky decor. Massive backyard with passionfruit vine, outdoor seating and lovely views. Great for dogs- very close to the river where they enjoyed a swim. The host was very helpful and offered tips regarding the area.
