"My family and I stayed here for a quick weekend get away. It was the perfect way to get the kids exploring and experiencing all that nature has to offer. The creek was flowing which made for great exploring. The pool cooled us off after walking around with goats and horses. My kiddos could not have been more in love than they were with the baby goats on the property. The cottage was perfect for our family of five and had all the necessities. Thank you, Miss Beth, for a fabulous weekend."

"This is a hidden gem in the Texas hill country! John and Karen have gone above and beyond as top notch hosts! They have thought of every single detail inside and outside. Just pack your clothes and go! If you love beautiful, country living, on a awesome ranch, then this place if for you. If you find an open weekend when the cabin is not booked, consider yourself lucky! I foresee this place being booked a year in advance as word gets out and the reviews of 10/10 keep coming in! "Very nice. Clean. Easy to find. Beautiful addition and character. Wi-Fi was a bit troublesome but worked. We loved the old original floors and the squeak in the master bedroom. Kitchen was very nice and decorated well. First hot shower had sulfur smell which is not uncommon with electric water heaters and well water that sit sometimes. Subsequent showers it was much better. Would stay there again regardless. Bluebonnets were coming up. Views over the water were amazing. Close to town if...

"There was someone in our room when we got there. Since there isn't a manager on site, it took awhile to get ahold of the owners to get another room. They did put us in the larger room at no extra cost, though, so that was nice. "

"Our short anniversary weekend stay was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the clean, small cabin that was very well stocked with all the basic needs. We enjoyed cooking on the grill by the water. I only wish the property had been mowed."

"Clean, quiet and comfy. SO glad I found this place to stay more than a week for work in nearby Marble Falls. Much better than the hotel lifestyle and having such easy access to a good fishing spot was the icing on the cake. AC worked great and bed was awesome. Hosts were very helpful and responsive when I had questions or requests. Can’t wait to come back when I can spend some leisure time with the wife. Highly recommend."

"The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

"Recommend basic maintenance be done as there were unpatched nail holes, board above dishwasher poorly done, cracks in drywall, kitchen fan ceiling ring hanging and dishwasher didn’t work until we called maintenance and one bathtub had no stopper-it was missing, shower light didn’t work and exhaust fan light continually flickering. Live bugs such as spiders and webs were present. Road driveway was horrible all washed out with huge ruts which can damage vehicles- unacceptable.Need easier access to...

"Very serene and calm area near the lake edge"

"The house and location were wonderful, but we were dissapoined with the cleanliness of the property. The beautiful picture windows were dirty and full of cobwebs. The porch needed to be swept and furnature brushed off at least. And there was black mold all over the master shower ceiling. The other disappointment was that there was great outside furniture by the lake, but there weren't enough cushions for all the guests to sit comfortably."
