10 acres, killer mountain views, fire pit, sleeps 8 -2 kings -Dog Friendly!

This non-smoking house is a complete classy and comfy winner. It is fully stocked (double ovens- and sinks in the kitchen) with anything you might need and is located 10 minutes from downtown Sisters (17 miles from downtown Bend) on 10 acres that share a boundary with the US Forest Service. The mountain view is stunning, the neighborhood quiet and there is plenty of room in this lovely house to stretch out and relax with family members and friends (critters too- we can square up later on the pet fee ($25 per night per dog).


Enjoy the plethora of nearby lakes for paddle boarding or kayaking or seasonal skiing at Mt. Bachelor or HooDoo! There is a forest road right next door that is perfect for taking the pooch for a run, or your mountain bike for a ride, and even your side-by-side RZRs. Aspen Lake golf course is minutes away, as well as Black Butte Ranch!


The home is my parents' dream home AND they snowbird for 6 months of the year. Know that when you stay at The Harrington House you are a guest in their home, not a rental guest. You will find all sorts of kitchen gadgets and tools, spices and any pot or pan you might need to create a gourmet meal for a family reunion or a holiday event! The home is loaded with puzzles and games (corn hole is a fan favorite), and the table is ginormous with 8 chairs and a high bar with an additional 4 chairs. The home includes 5 couches and 3 smart TVs. There is a turn around driveway if you are pulling a trailer and there is parking for dozens of vehicles on the paved driveway.

Spaces:
Master suite (king bed) is upstairs with a balcony and master bathroom complete with a garden tub and plush bath towels.
Bedroom 1 (King Glory) is downstairs
Bedroom 2 (Western Queen) is downstairs
Murphy 3 (Murphy Queen) is upstairs- there is a bathroom super close to the sleeping area. This is not a typical "bedroom"- it is in the loft. Also in the loft is multiple couches and seating, an outside balcony, a grand piano (that you can play or it plays by itself), a smart TV, a mini wetbar fridge and sink.

The hardwood floors bring warmth, the tiled entryway and bathrooms are gorgeous and the carpeted bedrooms and stairs provide a homey and quiet space.

Guaranteed to see deer & hear coyotes during your visit. Please don't feed the deer, as they will poop on the deck for months. :D

There is a fire pit and enough firewood for two evenings with a fire (yes, a welcome basket of 'smores will be waiting for you)!

Smoking/Pet Info:
As a reminder, this is a no-smoking property (house and property) and there is a $500-$1500 deposit retained.

We are a dog family- please ensure that you are accurate with the amount of furry friends joining your party. Pets are not allowed to be in the home alone. I have a small enclosure for smaller dogs that you are welcome to use for outside- weather permitting (please let me know if you would like it available). There is a penalty fee if pets are not disclosed. The dog fee is $25 per night per pet.

Due to parent allergies, we are not allowing cat-family-members at this time (meaning that cat can't stay at the house, just the cat owners).

There is an extra-person fee if your crew has more than 8 guests. The fee is $10 per person per night. This will be requested after your book as a "extra".

An outdoor motion camera is directed at the large four-bay shop garage doors for security. There are no eyes or ears on guests anywhere in the house or in the yard, driveway, etc. It literally is focused on the large shop doors for the "just in case" scenario since my folks are gone for 6 months.
