Great Ski Cabin

Everything was great except when I took out the garbage, the lids on the cans were so disgusting that I didn't want to touch them. I did, obviously, but gross. Other than that is was fine.

Perfect location for your family stay

Great getaway with my family and my parents

We wanted a place in nature, comfortable and not too far from Bend. It was a great time with all. My parents are in their 70s and I also have some teens. The place had bikes as well which was a great bonus!

Super fun Bach party place!

Had everything we needed and was amazing and perfect for our stay. Only thing was it didn’t seem like they cleaned very spot in the house as when we looked under the table there was still some trash from a different group under the table. The hot tub also looked kinda weird but overall great place

Sunriver Resort

Fun week with family

We had a great time at this house. Location is great as being able to walk or bike to the village for a quick trip to the grocery store and shops enables independence for anyone who doesn't drive or isn't familiar with the looping roadways. All of the bikes were in good working condition, so our whole family rode the river loop past the airport practically every day. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Post Holidays Chill Out...

Four 70-thing active elders, good friends for over 40 years, needed a quiet, relaxing get away after the holiday bustle. We were also celebrating two birthdays and a very recent retirement. The property looked like a wonderful option in Sunriver (where we have visited many times) and it was everything we hoped for. It is spacious and yet felt cozy, and is within walking distance of the Sunriver mall (shops and dining). Very clean with a well equipped full kitchen and a lovely hot tub. We had a great 7 days and even got some snow!

Almost perfect w/1 major flaw

This is such a cozy home, ideal location, and well-stocked. Being right next to the village but with a quiet loop for kids to ride their bikes around was awesome. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the railing around the loft. That area is clearly meant to accommodate kids with a full toy bin, kids' books and movies, and twin beds, but unfortunately the banister is not up to code (should only be 4 inches wide). These were so wide, any of the 4 kids we had there (ages 2-6), could easily slip through making it stressful any time they were up there. This is a huge safety hazard and I really hope the owners address this. Once this issue is fixed, I would highly recommend this rental!

Sunriver Trip with Friends

We went to Sunriver with more than 12 families and we had a blast. We rented a total of homes on Backwoods Lane to remain close to each other and it was the best decision. Backwoods lane is a short walk or bike ride to the Village. The bikes available at the home made exploring Sunriver very convenient and the available shark passes were a hit with the kids. Home was well stocked. The only opportunity I saw was the variety of toiletries available. There were only minimal bars of soap and shampoo so if you don’t bring your own you’ll need to buy some at the county store. Also there wasn’t a sponge available in the kitchen sink so we borrowed one from one of the other rental homes. Communication with Ron was smooth. When we needed someone to repair flat tires on 2 of the bikes it was taken care of the same day. Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sunriver.

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful stay and made great memories here. The property was very clean, though on check in there was a bit of an “old stale house smell”. After turning everything on it went away after a little while. It’s a beautiful little house! Smaller than it looks in pictures, but perfect for our family of 6 (4 adults 2 kids). Sunriver is WONDERFUL and the home location in comparison to the village was PERFECT - just a short cut through to get to. We walked and ate and played with the sleds and loved the hot tub. The house had toys and games and books and movies. My one little advice would be, maybe go through and update what’s in the cabinets, drawers, and games. Some games were missing pieces (so we left two brand new games that we bought that had all their pieces), and the cabinet had 3 peppers and no salt (we bought salt and left it). Also, in Oregon there’s a lot of eco friendly rules, so we had to buy reusable bags for shopping every time we got groceries - I left those so the next family wouldn’t have to do that - it might be helpful to add something to the check in book about that especially in using the market close by. There are zero pens or pencils in the whole house. Other than that - LOVELY. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Cannot beat the location! Also Ron’s place had literally all the kitchen gear you need. We did not use the grill but it is fine and in good order. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Great spot!

We had a great time in Sunriver and enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped, had plenty of space and very clean. Loved our morning and afternoon walk to the village close by for coffee and ice cream. Would stay here again!

Perfect home base

Cozy house with plenty of room for the four of us to relax after a day of skiing at Mt. Bachelor. There were clear directions provided for use of the hot tub. We loved it!
