Dated property in need of modernisation
There are both negative and positive points to this villa.
The property is dated (which we knew as this is demonstrated in the pictures) however the appliances were not appropriate for a villa which sleeps 6 people. The fridge freezer was not big enough for 6 people and it was not powerful enough. The oven was unusable as when it was turned on it tripped the electrics. VRBO were very responsive when we told them this but the issue is the old electrics which need to be changed.
The pool area has sun beds but some were broken. There were two cheap parasols which were not sufficient for 6 people to be protected from the sun in the heigh of summer (July).
The listing needs to make it more clear there is NO AIRCON. It is very common place for holiday Villas to have aircon so it needs to be made more obvious when this is not the case. We had one fan in each room which was not sufficient for the height of summer. There were no mosquito nets for the windows either.
The pool was fantastic and clean and we spent alot of time enjoying it. The veranda was lovely and there was a big lovely table for us to use. There was a reasonable BBQ to use too.
The villa was in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Benissa is a lovely place to stay with lots to do locally including snorkeling from the beach.
VRBO were very good but I would not recommend this villa.
