I think alot of the review calling this place old are just wrong this place is excellent if you want to do the hells tour and go around bath hopping . It has a traditional feel to it and the staff where helpful and the half board the food and way it was displayed was often the best part of the night.

Amazing ryokan
I had great time with wonderful hardworking staffs here. They are all taking their jobs seriously, and hospitality services were beyond professional expectations. Onsens and bath options are so many that i got to enjoy several different onsens within this facility. Dinner and breakfast were extremely luxurious that i cant believe how relatively cheap to enjoy! Location may be hard to access from beppu station, but if you ask staff to reserve van taxi for large party members a day in advance, no big deal (2050 yen from beppu station to this ryokan, but we all gave extra 1000 yen for tips for great taxi service drivers).

Bad maintenance
Entrance of Hotel looks like a out of bisiness in few month. Better have garden work and clean. I don't use this hotel again .

It is a nice place and the staff are excellent, breakfast was great and the onsen baths on site are nice as well. However the room we were given smelled strongly of smoke (I'm not sure if the app booked us in a smoking room or if the hotel did) and it was generally a little more run down than we would have liked. The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The bath area in the room could definitely use some fixing/cleaning up. Also the location is not convenient for downtown Beppu - it is convenient if you are visiting the hells, however.

It was okay. Good to have private bath but don’t go there in the evening. There are mosquitoes at night time. My husband got 4 bites and I got 3. There wasn’t a massage chair as shown on their websites. Not much of accommodations. No face mask nor hair treatments. Only body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Kind of disappointed. Most onsens I been to have lots of beauty supplies that you can try. The tatami is comfortable and the food is definitely good. We just didn’t like the mackerel.

Dinner was great and helpful staffs
Room is big enough for 5 guests but the private bathroom was too exposed. The staff was helpful to cater to our needs by providing us a screen to cover up the glass panel to block the views from the opposite building. The staffs helped us to lay out our futons. Dinner was great with lots of varieties. Private Onsen is just nice for 2 to 3 guests.

접근성이 좋고, 2개의 주차장의 공간이 많습니다. 바로 앞 버스 정류장에서 지옥순례하는 곳 까지 바로 갈 수 있습니다. 내부 온천에는 남여 구분된 공용탕이 있고 음료, 우유, 맥주 자판기 있습니다. 탁구도 칠 수 있습니다. 가족탕은 총 3개에, 한 가족탕은 더 큽니다. 원하면 몇번이고 온천을 이용할 수 있습니다. 석식 가이세키는 명물인 지옥찜을 포함하여 전부 맛있었고 다양한 맛을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 이곳에 있는 일본주도 만족스러웠습니다. 직원 분들의 응대도 친절하고 머무르는 동안 불쾌함이 하나도 없었고, 영어로 대화해도 충분히 소통이 가능 할 것 같습니다. 주변에 편의점 이외에도 대형 마트가 있어 더 다양한 일본 제품을 보는 것이 가능했습니다. 맥도날드도 있습니다. 한가지 아쉬운점을 꼽자면 방과 방간의 소음은 없으나 창문 밖의 차소리가 조금 들릴 수 있는점, 건조된 수건에서 보풀이 조금 날렸다는 점이 있습니다.

很生氣
酒店職員的服務態度 一般. 有一個年紀較大的服務員沒有禮貌. 言語不通, 他們的英文 程度 也不是好, 聽不明白再問他 就顯得不耐煩, 用手指指著我叫我留心聽. 其實他只是英文不好 說錯東西. 這點真的很差. 從來沒有試過在日本 遭遇這樣的對待. 很生氣.

酒店設施很舊，入住時前台員工講解不清晰，再提問表現態度不耐煩，要求更改由房間內進食而改在餐廳時，只說太忙安排不到及將責任推卸於我不提前通知，極不配合。 但負責在房間安排送餐的員工態度友善，食物普通。

친절하고 노천탕 1 개인욕탕 2 대욕장 1 있었는데 좋았습니다. 가족끼리 유카타입고 카이세키 먹었는데 일본스러운 분위기, 이국적인 느낌이 특히좋았습니다. 지옥순례 관광지도 걸어서 10분 거리로 관광일정잡기에 좋은 위치였습니다

일하시는 분들이 너무나 친절하시고 방도 넓어서 좋았어요. 개인 욕실은 작고 밖에서 보일 것 같아서 걱정했지만 아기랑 둘이 온천욕을 즐기면서 제일 즐거웠습니다. 저녁이랑 조식은 무저건 포함해서 드세요!! 너무 맛나요

地獄巡りに最適✨
部屋風呂があるお部屋に宿泊いたしました！スタッフさんはどの方も丁寧で、チェックイン前に荷物預けたら、お部屋まで持って上がってくださってました✨ 大浴場の他にある家族風呂は広くて開放感あります☺️ ごはんは半個室でいただくことができます！どの料理も美味しかったですが、あたたかいはずのお料理が少し冷めているのは残念でした…。朝も夜もどちらも遅い方の時間を選択したからでしょうか……？？(夜18:00 or 18:30、朝8:00 or 8:30から選べました) いい感じに年季がはいっていて、私はすきな旅館でした！！！

家族風呂3カ所はいいですね
とてもよかったです あえて苦言をいうと 和室とフローリングのお部屋 でしたが フローリングのベッドで休んんでいまして、ベッドから物を落として ベッドの下は 埃だらけで 掃除は 簡単です 。 もう少し 掃除改善は必要です でも、他はとても良かったです。

地方整潔，員工態度友善! 食物質素十分高水平。本人乃為自駕遊，當本人所駕駛之車輛一進入旅館之停車場時，員工及負責人急急前來招待，協助張車輛泊好，隨即員工協助搬運行李到前臺，如此恩勤服務令人十分滿意!

버스로 찾아가긴 좀 힘들었지만 온천수가 너무 좋고 피부가 매끈매끈 부드러워졌습니다. 저녁요리도 훌륭하고 양도 푸짐했습니다. 추가로 사케를 주문했는데 매우 맛있었고 직원도 친절합니다. 유카타는 색이나 모양이 마음에 싹 들지는 않았습니다만 별로 상관은없구요.. 방도 깨끗 이불도 푹신 차도 맛있었습니다!

후기가 별로 없어서 걱정했지만 전 완전만족했습니다 다다미방에 개인 욕조있는 방이었는데 이불도 푹신하고 깔끔하고 실내도 넓어요 다다미방이라 온풍기를 끄면 쌀쌀한 느낌이있지만 그것만 빼면 괜찮아요 욕조크기는 혼자만 들어올수있어요 3개의 노천탕도 여유롭게 쓸수있었네요 직원분들도 엄청 친절합니다 석식 조식 패키지였는데 숙소포함 가격대비 해서 좋았어요 개인적으로 조식이 더 좋았습니다 바로 길건너편 큰마트도 있어요 지옥온천도 근처에 있어서 관광하기 괜찮습니다
