“El alojamiento tiene una situación inmejorable y tiene el encanto de un edificio antiguo reformado”

“We had a great experience at Palazzo Porta Picta. It is soooo beautiful! It has only 5 rooms that feel like small apartments with exquisite decor. The living room and dining room areas are like part of a small palace. The hotel is in the middle of Citta Alta downtown area surrounded by incredible architecture, bars, cafes, pastry shops, and boutiques. A hidden gem that we truly enjoyed.”

“What a gem of a hotel, restaurant and everything about the greater property. It was the perfect spot for me and I will definitely be back!”

“All was very good with this guesthouse. It was well appointed with the expected supplies of soap and shampoo and as a bonus there was some olive oil and balsamic vinegar which I appreciated. The location was excellent. My mother cannot handle steep climbs but was able to find a fairly level walking path around the town.”

“Beautiful property, easy to walk to all of the sights in Citta Alta. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. We will come back to Bergamo just to stay here again!”

“Excellent location and a really lovely room”

“The hotel looked like a museum with all of the statues, incredible chandeliers, mosaic tile floors and artwork lining the hallways. I love how the hotel was very historic but the spa was very contemporary. The room was good for sleeping, dark and quiet, although the pillows were not great and the mattress was harder than I find comfortable. Wonderful amenities and location. Truly the grandest of the hotels along the lake.”

“Flott rom og meget informativ og gode meldinger fra hotellet i forkant. Ikke noe problemer med innsjekk og opphold! Flott rom med delikat bad.”

“Fantastisk miljö med ett perfekt centralt läge i Citta Alta. Nära till restauranger, muséer, lite shopping mm Stort härligt rum (sviten), rent och prydligt! Att rekommendera👍”

“We had a great experience staying at Academia Resort for our short stay in Bergamo. The room was comfortable for what we needed and had a great nights sleep after a long day of walking. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. From providing information of where to go for the sights to enjoying a buffet breakfast in the morning, everyone took the time to make sure we were ok. The location was well placed to enjoy both Citta Alta as well as Citta Bassa. We'll have no hesitation in……

“Litt vanskelig å finne frem. Men en fantastisk by og ha en leilighet der den ligger, føler man seg som en lokal. Alt i umiddelbar nærhet.”

“Et flott hotell, god beliggenhet og veldig hyggelig og serviceminded personale.”

“This is very much out of the way. The car park to the front of the property feels like you are part of the conversation on the outside from inside your room. Perhaps much much better double glazing would help. The digital access system is very useful but due to the heavy locks etc you definitely know when someone has entered or left the building. Maybe some door closures would cushion the sound. The neighbouring property has steel ornate gates. Again perhaps some sort of rubber cushion on the……

“Fuori Porta House hotel is in a great location on the edge of the old town of Bergamo, right next to one of the arched stone gateways. It is a smart, modern hotel. Breakfast is served in a lovely, bright room at the back of the hotel, and at the front is a terrace bar that is frequented by guests and locals alike. There is also a pizza restaurant below the hotel, which was recommended as the best in Bergamo by my walking tour guide :-) My room was spacious and luxurious with fantastic……
