We ran into the manager on the third floor (where they are planning on having another bar) and asked if we could order a drink and he said it wasn’t open yet but gave us 10% at the main bar downstairs. "We booked a superior double room. It was not worth the money. The furniture was worn and looked well used and in a style that did not suit the room or the hotel. The minibar did not work. All drinks were boiling hot. The bathroom did not smell particularly good. The staff is very service-minded, friendly and nice. The hotel is located in a nice area. We had a view of the pier, which was very nice."
