Couldn't have been happier!

Great place slightly removed from the noisy city center (~30-minute walk through interesting neighborhoods—we like to walk!—or 14 minutes by easy public transport) with a local neighborhood feel, a pretty river close by, and convenient services (grocery stores, an excellent bakery). Bergen can have a chill in the mornings and evenings, being close to so much water, so we were extremely happy to feel the ambient heat under our feet. Two nice bedrooms, a good kitchen, an excellent bathroom- efficient modern appliances and lock system. Particularly worth noting were the efforts of our host, Jonas. He was incredibly responsive--quick to answer any questions we had and enthusiastic to help. He made some great suggestions about restaurants in town which were really helpful. Recommend highly!

EVERYTHING WAS BROKEN:DISHWASHER WINDOW BLINDS BROKEN OR MISSINGLIGHTS DIDN'T WORK IN GUEST BEDROOMFURNITURE NO PILLOWCASES FOR PILLOWSBATHROOM SINK DID NOT DRAINCLOTHES DRYER DID NOT DRY CLOTHESDIRTY FLOORSNO TOILET PAPER WHEN WE ARRIVED AND STORES CLOSEDNOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE Garbage all over the ground beside the garbage cand in front of enterance.
