Ideal place to stop

Trendy hostel more suited to 18-35 but a friendly vibe and good bar. Friendly staff and airey rooms. Ideal location as quiet neighbourhood not far from night life

Great place to stay for a short time

The only issue I had was the very uncomfortable beds and pillows. The rest was great, particularly the staff.

I stayed in a three bedroom Girls dorm with an ensuite barhroom which was rad and had the room mostly to myself, but for one late night roommate who only came to drop and pickup a bag after what I assume was some Berlin raving. Good on ya. I only stayed one night during low season and found Sunflower had everything I needed, comfortable bed with clean linens, what looked like a sociable atmosphere downstairs, good access to transport links. Most importantly, after a long day of travel I found the Canadian at reception to be such a wonderful, kind and helpful human. Management take note, not all hostel receptions are this awesome, welcoming and pleasant. It was so nice to be greeted and helped like that in yet another new and foreign city. Thank you so much!

The best thing i can say about this hostel is LOCATION. Located in walking distance to many nightclubs, subway, supermarket, restaurants. Especially one of the best place for Berghain visitors. Wi-Fi was really poor, almost not worked during my stay which is very annoying for me. It ruined all my experience cause i had to go to subway station when i had to have important voice calls on whatsapp every single time. I talked about this with one of the employees and she told me that other guests are also complaining about that but nothing to do with this. And using lockers after check out should not cost money… Cleaning was also not enough in toilets. Rooms and bed was ok.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I would definitely consider staying here again. We booked a 5-bed dorm as three friends and, luckily, we were all placed in the same room, which was clean and comfortable. I was a bit worried about the shared toilets and bathrooms, but I had no issues at all, everything was tidy and well maintained. The location was also super convenient, within walking distance of Berghain and the train stat

Awesome place to stay! I stayed to start off the weekend and attended Berghain for Friday and through Sunday for Klubknact which I stayed at through Monday. So it was a great place to come in and out without feeling like a disturbance since most visitors are have the same experience. The staff was hit or miss; some were very kind and helpful while others were not hospitable. Great place for solo travelers or groups! I recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, lovely staff! Quite a reasonably priced stay, which was very comfortable. Only critique was that the bedroom decor was a bit outdated in our room but for the price it was pretty good

Avoid at all cost!

This would have to be the worst place to stay! It was dirty, noisy throughout the night and unsafe. Security was nonexistent as drifters from the street had access to enter the building. I would never recommend this place!

Not once—in my 4-night stay—was my single room (not a dorm) cleaned. Bed linen was dirty with chocolate (hopefully) stains. And you must give a 10€ deposit for bedsheets and a tiny towel, which must be brought back at checkout. Worst: it’s overpriced when compared to other (better) hotels in the area. This describes SunFlower best: “Charge 'em for the lice, extra for the mice/Two percent for looking in the mirror twice/Here a little slice, there a little cut/Three percent for sleeping with the window shut”. Stay away!

Vielsprachiges, nettes Personal. Viele Funktionen auf kleinem Platz (Schließfächer, Waschmaschinen), Frühstück ist ordentlich. Gebäude ist schön gestaltet, allerdings merkt man, wie die Bausubstanz gealtert ist. (Knarzende Böden etc.) Auch als großer, schwerer Mann war es kein Problem, im oberen Etagenbett zu schlafen.
