We travel to North Devon about 3 times a year, this is our first stay in the Ho! We could not believe the value for money for ra week in this apartment - the size of the place is ample, it was only 2 of us but you'd be comfortable as a family of 4. The host met us to let us in and show us the underground parking etc and he was very friendly and very informative. The parking is a HUGE plus, whenever we book places to stay, the parking is usually the last thing thought about, this place has a secure underground space for one vehicle and lift access... It really makes all the difference. The property is spacious and modern, PLENTY of utensils and cupboard space, washing machine, again made all the difference to us being there for a week...I can't think of a single thing missing that we thought we could do with during the stay. The host called me to see when we wanted to check in which was very kind and also gave us 2 sets of keys and fobs. The MAIN event - the view, it's right on the sea front and the view is 180...it's breathtaking - I think I took hundreds of pics from there... And with that the roaring sea sound, to enjoy from the massive balcony/terrace...aside from the loud sea when you open the terrace door(which I personally love) the rest of the building is very quiet, it was December so perhaps that makes a difference but we did meet some neighbors but could never hear them from within the flat.We ended up rebooking for the same week next year, whilst we were still only half way through the holiday :)Westward Ho is a lovely friendly place, plenty of simple amenities, small tesco, few pubs, that sort of thing, but you are in a great spot to easily get to the bigger towns such as Barnstaple etc. or to visit the other beauty spots such as Croyde or Appledore and Instow etc. Needless to say, we thought it was perfect and well priced and could not fault our stay.
