Big Bend Bar Hotel

"We loved the neat historic hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Enjoyed snacks and drinks in the bar in the evening."

"No real bar even though they say they have a bar and grill. Food was good. Area around hotel seemed run down. Not certain it was safe to walk around, so we did not. Rooms were great, large, clean. No noise to disturb us. Shuttle to airport was well run and 24 hours. Staff very nice. "

"This hotel was a nice surprise! We were traveling with classic show cars, were concerned but the 3 security guards the casino provides driving through the night made us feel better. We loved this hotel quiet and super clean!!! We were very pleased with our stay!! We even booked again to stay here coming home. Also beds and pillows were super comfy!"

"Cool historic hotel, located across from the train station. Very walkable to restaurants and shops, easy parking options. The rooms are old but tasteful, and could probably use some updates. The main lobby and outdoor courtyard was beautiful and historically decorated. Their restaurant and bar, a centerpiece of the property, was closed for renovations. Too bad."

"The property was really nice and unique. The biggest issue is for rooms facing the pool, the music from the bar goes until 1AM on the weekend. It's really loud and there's no soundproofing. They asked us if this would be a problem at check-in and when I said yes it would be a problem and asked if we could be moved, they said there were no rooms left, completely full - sorry! Then why ask to begin with...? That left a bad impression. Friday night was ok/tame but Saturday night was SO loud,...

"I have stayed at the Hotel Paso Del Norte for many years. It is a great hotel. The staff is courteous, helpful, and on top of the game. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in, and I have stayed in a bunch of them."

"Love the hotel but not the atmosphere, to many drunk people wasn't able to sleep till about one a.m.had people running up and down outside our room,yelling and screaming and kids running back and forth yelling also the only thing wrong with the room the tv stopped working and the shower didn't work had a bath tub so it was ok. Other then that very good hotel."

"The location was great. Love the layout and the gated access. The beds were a little too firm and small for two people but overall a great stay. I highly recommend prepaying for breakfast. That was very good, excellent service and so convenient. The waitress was very nice, helpful and accommodating. "
