"Girl at front desk was helpful. Rooms were clean. What do you want for $67 a night. I would stay again."

"We love staying at Wayside Inn. This is our third or fourth stay. The place is such a treasure! The food in the restaurant is good and the bar is fun. The only thing we noticed this time is that the bar closed at 9 p.m. on a Saturday night. We came in from dinner at 9:15 and planned to have a night cap and were told the bar closed at 9:00! The previous times we stayed there the bar was open until 10 or 11 on Saturday. We though such an early closing time was odd for the weekend."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Petersburg, as we attended at wedding nearby. The town is small and there are not many hotels, but i was happy to stay here and really liked it. There are three buildings for the hotel. We stayed in the back building. It was recently renovated with the new flooring that looks like wood and is easily cleaned. The bedding was great and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is bagels and cereal that you take back to your room. There is a restaurant as well. We ate there and really had a nice meal outdoors in the covered section, though eating inside would have been nice. I highly recommend this restaurant and hotel if you stay in Petersburg. Only one thing: one of the buildings has ground level rooms that are directly facing the street that is in front of the hotel. I would insist that i not get those rooms, as the traffic causes a lot of noise. I would avoid staying at this hotel if you are not guaranteed a room in the back part or at least not facing the street."

"No internet at all. But a great disconnect. Hot tub was great. There was no real good view but the river wasnt far. Recommend to bring a DVD."

"The bed was very comfortable and the amenities in the room were great. Check in was quick and easy. Very quiet rooms and the breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from. A very pleasant stay and close to everything."

"The hotel and all amenities were fine. When I went to check in I was told I had gone through a search site to book the room, which I had not. I booked directly with them, I had to get that clear before I could use my AAA discount."
