「The home was exceptionally clean and let in a lot of light. There were only two of us, but this home could easily fit 1-2 more people during a stay. My son and I each had our own room and bathroom (and TV). The host was communicative about checking in. It was close to the beach, and also close to the UNF campus, which is where we were visiting. The location had many spots and restaurants within a short drive. We were only there a night, but would stay again if we go to Jacksonville!」

「This was our fifth stay at Merry Mermaid Cottage in six years. The cottage and its location in St. Marys are both fabulous, so much so that we've made it an annual getaway. Barbara (the owner) is exceptional at communication and accommodation. The cottage couldn't be better, just perfect for our needs and accessorized with anything you might need. Then there's nearby Cumberland Island National Seashore, a paradise just 45 minutes away by ferry. Thanks, Barbara, for another fantastic visit!」

「This was our second visit to Julie's lovely property. Located steps to the ocean where we searched for (and found) shark teeth and a short ride to the tennis facility for our annual charity event. Wish we had more time to relax at the condo! You will find everything you need, kitchen with ample supplies for cooking, bathroom (with extras in case you forgot things), plenty of sheets, towels and blankets. 」

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
