“We had issues with one of two rooms booked and after the first call to the hotel they refused to speak to me”

“We were in Newport for the Jazz Festival. The accommodations were very good, location convenient for everything. Pictures accurately depict the property. The only thing that I would suggest be improved is the wifi. We ended up using our phone hotspot to connect when we were in the room. We would stay there again.”

“The room was affordable, clean, and quiet. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We had a great experience there for two days and would love to stay again!”

“The room itself was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. However, the room lacked a full length mirror. This was a major inconvenience because we were attending a formal event. The outside property could use alot of curb appeal and attention. Truthfully, it was an eyesore and made us very nervous as we were driving in. Suggestions would be some planters, flowers, benches, ice machines. I believe this would draw more visitors. Overall, I would stay there again and recommend this place……

“We stayed for four nights in the beautiful bayside room. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast with pro tips for what to do in the area that day, as well as the common rooms to hang out. The location is very convenient for walking to restaurants, the Jamestown harbor, and driving over to Newport. We are sad to leave and look forward to coming back.”

“The hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable. Being close to the airport with shuttle service was nice, but it wasn’t close to much.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Mill Street Inn. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable. Fantastic location - walkable to Thames and Bellevue - lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and polite. They made excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend a stay here.”

“They only had stairs as we needed an elevator We attempted to shorten our stay from 5 nights to two and the ow er refused So we left and were charged!!! They suggested moving us to 3 different rooms 2 different rooms each night on the 1st floor and the. Back upstairs? Made no sense.!!! They would have had plenty of time to rerent the room ?”

“Very clean stylish rooms and a great patio for sitting outside. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Free onsite parking and very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here on our next visit!”
