“Clean, central, good communication ”

“Lovely trip exactly what we wanted. Very welcoming host”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The living room was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the garden was great. We got lots of sun on the decking and adored the sauna! The upstairs bedrooms are bright and large. The bedroom with the en-suite is small but cosy. The en-suite is more of a wet room but that was fine for a couple of days. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Margate which we found totally reasonable. ”

“Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……

“Great location, comfortable living room with lovely view out over the beach and harbour. Kitchen and shower room are snug, but fully functional. We had a really good time.”

“The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. ”

“Great location and with a parking space albeit very tight to get the car down the lane and we don’t have a large car. House was as described but very basic and just felt like not a lot of thought had gone into the decor and making it homely. Just a couple beach pics on the walls. Outdoors furniture was dirty. TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Bed was small and a bit uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet was dirty. Shower leaked and difficult to get in and out of the bath with the large shower……

“Fabulous house in a perfect location next to both the bars / restaurants and the beach area. Very quiet , lovely outside area, and parking was a bonus. Exceptionally clean, first class facilities in the house….and a cheeky bottle of wine to welcome us. 5 star hosts with a 5 star house. We will be back .”

“Great place”

“Very impressive flat. Sea views second to none. Host quick to respond when we had questions. Don't think I'd even look elsewhere if travelling to Margate with family again! Top marks!”
