Tickle Cove Boat House

"The property is essentially a cabin rather than the regular type of Airbnb accommodation people might expect. It is small but very unique, cozy, and lovely. The view is also very good. I think it would be especially suitable as a romantic getaway for younger couples. The check-in process was smooth and easy. However, it would be helpful to provide clearer driving instructions, as the mobile signal is very poor in Trinity. Unfortunately, my wife and I had some difficulty sleeping during our stay. The night we stayed was extremely rainy and windy, and the strong winds caused the structure to shake noticeably. We could also feel the bed shaking, which kept us awake for much of the night. I understand that this was an unusually windy night and may have been an exceptional situation, but the shaking and rocking of the bed were unexpected. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the unique character of the property, and our stay would have been much better if we had been able to sleep comfortably."

"Amazing stay. Bedrooms were very comfortable and a fantastic place to rest after a long day hiking, sightseeing, and picking blueberries (which were both abundant and delicious). Kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed and more. Hosts responded to inquires remarkably quickly. 10/10, would recommend."

"The home was beautifully decorated and included all essentials and then some. We loved the location as it was a midpoint between all of the hiking trails we were looking to access. The home was spotless with all new furnishings overlooking a small lake. The property was also easy to locate and close enough and yet far away from HWY 230 to facilitate our travels. Location was very quiet. Furnishings were all very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Host was very accommodating. Excellent property"

"Charming house in Bonavista. We only stayed one night and so can't comment on much. There is one thing... the entrance to the downstairs bedroom has a step DOWN into the room. I was totally unprepared for this and fortunately managed OK. However I suggest that some sort of barrier be put there to show and/or remind people that there is an unexpected step here. But in general we would have enjoyed staying there longer."
Elliston Oasis: Every View A Coastal Masterpiece

"This place certainly lives up to its name. It is an oasis with every view a coastal masterpiece. The chalet is comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you would require. Bonavista is 15 minutes away and Trinity about 30. The Puffins are 10 minutes away!!! If you want to amuse yourself, sit on the deck early afternoon and watch people heading in that direction. Almost like the 401 in Toronto at rush hour. !! :) :). We went at 9:00 AM and it was perfect. There are two restaurants near by that offer eat in or take out, if your not interested in preparing your own food. Before and during our stay the host was very responsive!!!! Wonderful place!!
