"This Quinta exceeded our expectations. It is situated in a rural and beautiful area. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a much larger town not too far from the Quinta, called Penafiel. The villa where we stayed had a breathtaking view of both the vineyard and river. "A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"Booked a stay for me and my wife as a routine escape and i didn't regret it. The most exquisite views and surroundings. The Staff were impecable. The only finger pointing I will do is some lack of maintenace. "Beautiful property with breathtaking views at the west entrance to Duro valley . We stayed in the family suite with 2 full bathrooms and a small kitchen which was very convenient and large.
