“Disappointed that neither pool was open ”

“We came for an overnight stay for a family event. Instructions for checking in, getting in the house and parking were easy enough. The house was clean and the views of the lake were spectacular…so much better in person than in the photos! Would love to stay here again when I’m back in town.”

“This is not your typical vacation rental. Elam goes above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay to the max. There are so many little personal touches that are fun to discover and you will not be at a loss of things to do, from a beautiful sauna, hot tub and pools to game rooms stocked with games, books and lovely lounge areas. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics plus extras that I don't typically see in rentals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Mountainhome! The layout was perfect for our stay. We had 6 teen girls and 3 teen boys with us and were able to separate them so they didn’t get in each others way. The game room is amazing, and so spacious that even though everyone was in there playing different games, at the same time, it still didn’t feel crowded. Location is great and within 10-20 mins of anything you can want to do. We highly recommend!”

The spa room is a special treat. We arrived to check in after a two hour hike through Bushkill Falls, and relaxed eating our dinner outside on the rear deck with privacy. “We came to play golf but the weather did not cooperate most days, but we had the best time as a family enjoying the property and surrounding area. The area provides great food options like Pho Saigon, AJ’s pizza and Mi Casa Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed the hot tub multiple times a day and had both outdoor and indoor fires. The space inside the house was very suitable for games and movies as a family. The house is clean and provided and great experience for us as a family including our dog……
