Downtown is a short 5 mile trip to the town square featuring the delightful Cabin Coffee, Grandaddy mimms distillery and a ton of restaurants to choose from. Discover the beauty of Vogel State Park only 6 miles away with their many hiking trails and waterfall. Meeks park offers easy trails and large play areas as well as tubing spots for warm weather. This part of Georgia is truly magical, immersed in the midst of the Appalachian trail there are plentiful hiking and waterfall trails to choose from, lakes to tube in and mystical towns to explore. Brasstown Bald, Georgias highest peak offers breathtaking views of this wonderous state.
