"Excellent service as usual at Hyatt. Food was high quality and a wide variety of things available. Staff was service was excellent. Every staff member i interacted with was amazing. Parking is always a problem though as the multi level carpark seems to have all spaces labeled as "reserved". There were some marked spaces for Hyatt but all taken. Not a deal breaker though. "

"Pax Guest House is in a heritage building so it is important to know that some of the facilities are older. This did not impede our stay but it is something that visitors should be aware of before arriving. Both Gerard and Oda were wonderful hosts and made our time in Trinidad that much better. Gerard gave us daily tips on where to go and what to do. Oda provided us with the best breakfasts and hospitality. They even prepared a special meal for my birthday! The guest house is up the mountain and there are many switchbacks to reach the building. For this reason, we opted to have dinner at the guest house most nights. We felt very safe here and absolutely loved the hummingbird activity on the deck as well as the view of the valley. This is a special place and I would certainly come back. "

"The staff is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. This is a small group of cabins on the side of a rainforestountain with natural pools and a 100 year old main house recently renovated. The food was delicious and healthy. But most of all, the staff was so generous when we were late for meal or needed help with the layout of the grounds. It's a place of magic and stillness. "

If even there was a slight issue, he was there to provide answers and help within minutes after a call.Secondly, the property itself was absolutely gorgeous. An extremely clean and comfortable stay, as well as affordable and conveniently located as it was not far from local activities such as hiking trails, nightlife, and beaches, and most importantly for my trip, family. I've already been sharing the information for this stay to friends and family back in the US should they ever want to take a trip to Trinidad. Check-in was smooth, and they even provided great recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed, including a cozy bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything spotless throughout my stay. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s conveniently situated in the heart of Tunapuna, close commute to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas just a short walk away. Whether you're here for business or leisure, everything you need is within reach. The on-site facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served delicious meals. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Great service, a prime location, and excellent amenities for the price.
