“The resort was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Breakfast had great options and was very good. The problem was the water in the shower in my son's room would spill out into the room. The shower in my room kept cutting off. We would be mid shower and .... no water for about 2-3 minutes. The water would also get cold very quickly. ”

“The property was beautiful and set in a charming rustic location, surrounded by open fields that added to the peaceful and calming atmosphere. It offered a relaxing escape from the busy city life.
However, it's worth noting that there were very limited grocery shopping options nearby, and the nearest superstores required a long walk—often without proper sidewalks. Dining options in the immediate vicinity were also quite few.

Personligt bemötande av supertrevlig personal. Verkligen jättemysigt rum med ”djungelkänsla”.
Supermysigt badrum där halva duschen var utomhus - kändes verkligen som att man var ute i djungeln.

Banana pancake is my favourite ❤️ Good massage. Possibility to rent moto-bike on site. The owner/manager of the property is very interesting and nice person. He cares a lot about the guests.

“This was our third time at Mandela Desa.
While things have changed around the villas since we were there last in 2018, it still offers the peace and tranquillity and wonderful obliging staff as always.
The View Suite still offers the amazing rice field and mountain views and having breakfast on the veranda was a favourite time of day for us.
We highly recommend this 4 room boutique accommodation to anyone that is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali or Ubud.
