"I was clean and functional and the staff were exceptionally helpful. The lighting in the rooms leaves them darkish so, for instance, difficult to read the combination on a suitcase without a light. The bathroom lighting was fine. We were mainly in the room to sleep. Not much in the way of drawers but enough shelves and hangers. Great food service attached. We really liked it and were mostly there just to sleep."

"Great hotel right by old port, church and restaurants. Staff was welcoming and ensured the stay was fantastic. Rooms are a little small by north American standards but well noise insulated. They have a luggage storage area in the lobby that is locked with a room key so you never have to bother them and you know your luggage is secure."

"Very lovely place to stay. Clean, modern, even had a washer and dryer to do our laundry! The cottage was hot and I couldn’t find a way to control the room temperature. Other than that, it was perfect. Would definitely recommend!"

"Great location! Almost everything you want to see in Reykjavik is within walking distance including restaurants, bakeries and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again when in Reykjavik."
