“Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. A small fridge would be useful to allow for proper fresh milk and keeping drinks cool. Beds were comfy and the separated bunk……

“Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……

“Loved having access to a kitchen and a washing machine, much needed after 3 wks camping. Beds were supper comfy cozy, and contrary to other reviews we did not find the street noise bothersome, and we had the windows open. Traffic noise calmed by midnight. Place was very well looked after by hardworking staff, we saw staff regularly in the 4 days we stayed. Shout out to them, because it's deplorable the mess other guests left in the kitchen. Very inconsiderate not leaving it clean for the next……

“When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. When we did get into the room the large curved screen TV proved to be……

“I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel.……

“The good sides:Very Spacious! Well equipped, car park available. Those need to improve : Not too clean, e. g. Some spider web inside room, on the door knob... No curtain around the bath tub in the master bedroom... Hotel.com didn't inform us clearly the check in procedure - e. g. We need to contact the staff by phone for a password to the key safe! ”

“Great location and has a parking space, main bedroom is very nice but second bedroom is more suitable for children than an adult couple. Kitchen and living room is nice and the host supplied coffee and tea. Thank you!”
