The stairs leading up to the property was very charming and just beautiful. The room was spacious with the basic necessities. This is a private villa so don’t expect a full service hotel. Even though the reception isn’t 24/7, the front desk always makes sure your needs are met before the staff leaves for the evening. The dining area was intimate which feels like you……

“Die Rezeption war super, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns 2 Räume angeboten (zum gleichen Preis), obwohl wir 1 Zimmer für 4 Personen gebucht haben. Das einte Zimmer war in super Zustand. Das andere sah auch super aus, hatte jedach viele Ameisen im Badezimmer. Wir haben hns davon jedoch nocht beirren lassen und haben den Aufenthalt genossen. ”

“Overall, the environment and room are ok, but the communication is not so great, they don't have reception so you have to send your ID/Passport information ahead. Sent an email 2 weeks prior my visit and no reply, had to call them to confirm and they did confirmed. But before the checking day they sent another msg said the identity information was not yet be given and I might not able to check in...had asked my Italian friend to call again to confirm. Walls are very thin, there is a couple……

“Für uns stimmte alles! Wir konnten das Zimmer vor der "Check-in" Zeit beziehen. Das Essen im Restaurant wie auch das Frühstück war 1A. Wir werden das "Il Castano" im Herbst vermutlich wieder buchen, sofern alles wie bis anhin weiterhin bestehen würde.”

“Splendido hotel ristorante ad un passo dal Lago di Como e facile da raggiungere sia con l'auto sia con il la linea ferroviaria Trenord che parte da Milano Cadorna. La nostra permanenza è stata molto piacevole e tranquilla. La camera molto spaziosa e silenziosa con un letto molto comodo ed un bagno con doccia che ha soddisfatto le nostre esigenze. Menzione speciale va fatta al ristorante dell'hotel accessibile sia agli ospiti sia alla popolazione. Il menù molto raffinato e particolare e i prezzi……
