「My son and I just spent the most wonderful week at 'Little Orchard' Chipping Campden. The cottage was magical, straight out of a fairy tale. Our host, Maggie, could not have made us feel more welcome with breakfast provisions and a delicious sponge cake waiting for us on our arrival. 「Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

「This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! 「The cottage is in a perfect location. A few steps away from the river walk but just tucked away around the corner enough that you are away from the busy main area. We used it as a base for some long walks out into the countryside (especially liked the Windrush Way hike) and easy walk to places for dinner. Walking to both Lower and Upper Slaughter is a must! 「What a lovely place to stay! Watching the horses coming and going a bonus. Such a beautiful quirky cottage. Clean, comfy and spacious for a couple and our two dogs. The hot tub was a lovely treat after long dog walks.. Hook Norton and Swalcliffe visits a must. Pubs are so lovely and dog friendly. The land around the riding school great for the dogs too. 「Rosary Cottage is a lovely home in the center of Chipping Campden. Beautifully decorated with all the Cotswold charm one could want! Our host, Paul, was so helpful before and during our stay. A wonderful spot to enjoy so many nearby towns and historic sites. We enjoyed several hiking trails along the Cotswold Way that originated steps from the cottage. 」
