During my recent visit, I stayed in a room that has two levels joined by wooden stairs; the upper level was like a reading/ conversation/ music listening room; and the lower level had a big bathroom with a hugh bathtub in the middle of the floor, a nice bedroom, a study area with desk plus a separate space for the coffee station. 「We had a wonderful stay at Curaçao Gardens for our honeymoon. Walking distance to shopping and souvenir shops including the beautiful Hulanda Village. Our plunge pool was cool and refreshing after a long day out on the town or by the ocean. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We suggest going next door to Maira's for breakfast or dinner, the owner is very kind and the food is spectacular. All around a great visit for these Americans.」

「Such a fantastic stay. Room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a lively street. It can get loud at night (Thursday-Saturday) but adds to the charm of Pietermaai. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and easy to walk to Punda and Otrabanda. Enjoyed having the pool to cool down after long days in the heat.」
