This was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip. It’s such an unexpected gem with a fantastic host. Fabiola took great care of the place, and was very hospitable whenever we had questions about the property or any food places, nearby attractions, etc. My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend this location to others!

We had a wonderful time at the Cottage, which is extremely dog friendly. Fabiola was so thoughtful and detailed about our stay. The Cottage was a perfect retreat, and we so enjoyed exploring Blue Hill and its environs.

I need 6 stars for this review! Everything surpassed our hopes... the cottage is cozy, well appointed, and stylish. The host has thought ahead of every single detail. She was as open and friendly as she was informative and clear. We were warmly welcomed and then given space and privacy for the duration of our stay. The cottage, the private beach, the charming town of Blue Hill - everything hit all the right notes. We're looking forward to going back asap!

The cottage was lovely - outfitted with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The furnishings and decor were thoughtfully curated from eclectic artwork to perfect lighting (it was no surprise to learn that Fabiola worked as a lighting designer). The walk down to the private beach may be a challenge for those with mobility issues but we had no trouble and found the beach to be quiet, clean, and very peaceful. The best part though was Fabiola's warm welcome and hospitality. She met us upon our arrival to give a tour of the property and made herself available if we needed anything, sending great recommendations for local spots we could visit with our dog, who was along for the weekend. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning. The one regret was that we wish we'd booked more than just a few days. Next time

Blue Hill Cottage

Blue Hill Cottage was perfect. The owner, Fabiola, met us upon arrival, gave us a tour, gave us welcoming gifts and was on call for all of our needs. She also sent dinner and touring information months in advance. It was the first time we did a trip where the owner actually planned out part of our vacation! It was much appreciated. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Was stocked with everything we needed. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We highly recommend!!!

Chic Farmhouse Cottage with Private Beach — A Blue Hill Gem

The cottage is gorgeously decorated — light-filled and bright, with Belgian linen-lined alcoves and rich wood tones that strike a perfect balance between coastal simplicity and upscale charm. The covered deck overlooks the garden and fire pit, where I roasted marshmallows under the stars, and a short path leads you to a private stretch of shoreline—so peaceful and unique! Our host was wonderfully warm and accommodating. She thoughtfully provided detailed instructions on how to make the most of every feature—from setting up the fire pit to adjusting the A/C and streaming with the Wi‑Fi. A guest book brimming with local recommendations—where to dine, kayak, or hike—made planning out each day effortless and exciting. The enclosed garden is a delight. Adirondack chairs beckoned lazy afternoons. Plus, having your own private beach was a true highlight—ideal for early morning strolls, tide pooling, or simply listening to the water. Our dogs loved rollicking off leash on the beach, which was a real treat. If you’re searching for a Maine getaway with serious style, warmth, and that special touch of seaside seclusion, this is the place. Five stars, no question — I’m already dreaming of my next stay!

This is a very special and unique property! Fabiola made us feel right at home… the cottage is comfy, spacious, and well decorated. A wonderful location for visiting Acadia, while also getting away from the crowds and into a classic little New England village.

Chic Cottage hosted by Fabulous Fabiola

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation thanks to our host Fabi and her sweet dog, Otto. Fabi has attempted to provide for all of our needs. The cottage is meticulously appointed and furnished with luxury linens. The king size bed is very comfortable even with our pup getting up on the cover. We appreciated that there was adequate storage enabling us to unpack our suitcases. The relaxing music of chirping birds when the window is open was a plus for us. But there is also a wireless speaker you can utilize. The kitchen is minimal in size but the refrigerator is standard and the air fryer, microwave, stove and coffee making options met our needs. There is also a fire pit that we didn’t use. We enjoyed reading on the covered porch. Yes, you can see the water from the porch. We greatly appreciated that Fabi had treated both our fenced yard and Otto’s adjoining yard for ticks and other vermin. Our Sophia loved playing with Otto and running in his big yard. Thank you Otto for sharing and being such a gentleman. We stayed a week this year. We plan to return for a longer stay in 2026. There is so much to do, see and explore in Blue Hill and the surrounding area. Fabi’s cottage handbook has a great deal of information. She is available to answer your questions. We enjoyed our basket of treats, 2 cappuccino coupons plus a toy 4 Sophia. Fabi greeted us & took her time familiarizing us with everything.We encourage you to choose Fabi’s chic cottage. Perfect location for a romantic getaway!

My husband and I celebrated our 28th anniversary here and had such a lovely time. Fabiola has created a beautiful sanctuary. The room had everything we needed (one thing to note if you plan to cook is that you can’t fry things. She does have an air fryer that’s available.) Fabiola is quick to respond to texts and she thought of everything to make it a welcoming stay. The location is quite central to the various islands. And the local Hill’s bakery and Arborvine restaurant are highlyRecommended.

Blue Hill Cottage

Had an amazing time with my girlfriend and our sweet little dog bean. Fabiola was incredibly friendly and phenomenal with communication. She offered wonderful tips for the area and was also very clear on the expectations for the stay. We look forward to booking here in the future

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Hills Cottage. Fabiola is the perfect host, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys hosting people. Super cozy and well appointed cottage, set in a beautiful landscape. It is the perfect place to stay if you have dogs, as it is fully fenced and perfect for them. Unique and lovely spot

Fabiola's Blue Hill Cottage is tastefully furnished and impeccably decorated, reflecting her experience as a design and decorating professional. The Cottage is comfortable and convenient for two, and Fabiola has provided most everything you'll need for a short or longer stay. The Cottage is very private despite being adjacent to the host's home. The village of Blue Hill is only two miles away, and the entire peninsula is readily accessible. If weather permits, be sure to spend some time on the Cottage's upper deck.

Perfection!

I spent a magical time at this fabulous cottage in Blue Hill. It was the perfect size for me and the dogs loved the yard! Located close enough to town to be able to run in quickly to get whatever I needed, I was also on the road to everywhere else in this great part of Maine. The best was the hostess, Fabiola. She made me feel like a houseguest and introduced me to Blue Hill and all its wonderful people. We will be back! We love the cottage, I have a new friend in Fabiola and the pups loved their afternoon romps in the big yard with Otto. Next year- a month!

The most perfect Maine getaway

My husband and I just spent an amazing week at Fabiola’s property with our dog. The space itself was perfect for the 3 of us. We loved the private beach access and the fenced in yard for our dog. The location was perfect for all of our hiking and exploring. Fabiola was such a great resource for suggestions and recommendations and was always very responsive. Can’t recommend staying here enough!!

Pup friendly hiking

This is the cutest apartment with close proximity to multiple hiking areas (also dog friendly). We were very comfortable staying for almost a week. The beach walk is a hike in itself but the beach is very private with gorgeous views. We were able to watch a regatta from the beach, as well. The kitchen & bathroom are very small but everything was well kept and functional. The bed was extremely comfy. The fenced in yard was also great for the dog!

The most incredible visit

I booked this cottage for my boyfriend’s birthday in October and he said this was his favorite trip. Prior to booking I wasn’t sure where exactly in Maine we wanted to stay/visit as we always just wanted to go. Blue Hill is a must! The town was so charming and had the most incredible sandwich shop, accompanied by the best wine shop we’ve ever found that makes their own bread with the nicest staff! Aside from the town, Fabiola was the most incredible host even though we were a bit calamitous. She checked in on us and let us have our privacy for being just next door in her guest house. I would go again in a heart beat if she would have us! Her cottage is so charming and clean. I can’t say enough how this trip exceeded everything I expected. It was like being immersed into a movie!
