Charming setting, needs some work

Pros: spacious patios, comfy couches, nice fire place downstairs, plenty of board games to play as well as a pool table Cons: kitchen needs a serious update: cookware was flimsy and grimy, no can opener or mixing bowls, it almost felt like we were trying to be discouraged from cooking at all :pull out couch - very uncomfortable :hot tub - pretty mildewy :garbage was left throughout the entire place, namely a large bag on the back patio with food waste.

Not terrible.

The home was beautiful and well kept up. We did have a few issues though. First: my husband wanted to ride the motorcycle up and we could not get a straight answer from anyone about the state of the road. Thankfully we took the car. The road is not terrible but definitely not smooth. Straight up and down and multiple potholes and loose gravel. Second: if you are renting this solely for the hot tub....keep looking. We made sure it was on and set to 102 when we arrived on Thursday. Normally it is ready by that night. The tub was on 60 when we arrived (assuming because it was just drained and cleaned.) The tub did not reach 100 degrees until Saturday morning and then dropped to 95 within 20 minutes once the cover was taken off. Next: the kitchen does need some updated equipment. It has all the basics but no baking dishes or mixing bowls. Lastly: the game table dowmstairs did not work at all. The joystick was broken so there was no playing it. The home is definitely secluded and quiet and the water pressure/ heat inside it amazing.
