"A very nice, cozy rental by the lake. It was tidy and welcoming as a cabin. The fire place kicked when you turned the recirculation on. Washer/dryer combo came in handy drying wet clothing from rain. Little did I know that every 5 years they partially drain the lake at thiz time of the year for dam maintenance. Not the hosts fault, just wish I had known. We had a great time anyways, even in a rainy Noreaster. Promised Land state park is nearby, so we hit that up. I can see there is plenty to do at the lake when its in full swing. May have to come back to see it in its full glory. The extra space in the loft is not for the tall people. The railings are very low and the ceiling sloped, can dangerous. The firepit is setup nicely outside but its also on the corner so people will blind you with their headlights turning slowly. I would stay again for sure."

"Any staff we interacted with were great and super helpful! The property looks just like the pictures. It is an older hotel but you can tell it has been updated. There were a few small housekeeping things (dirty exhaust fan, floor in bathroom) which is why I wouldn’t say excellent but overall the room was clean. We enjoyed our stay, breakfast was hot and good. We would stay again!"

"Very nice hotel and our first visit there. The staff was very professional and friendly. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent - wish we had more time to try dinner there. We were checking in at dinnertime and there was a line to get in. The outside grounds were so nice and there was a HUGE pumpkin to welcome us at the door. We will definitely go back again."
