We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better. This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle."

"Lovely comfy cottage located in an ideal location for accessing Northumberland Coastline and Moors. Local amenities are great with the town of Morpeth less than 10 minutes away. The pub 100m from the cottage is a great local pub with good food and friendly staff. The quality of everything in the cottage is great, the hot tub and log burner are also fantastic and allowed for a very relaxing stay.We will definitely be back in the future."

"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. "
