Great hotel in a lovely area

This was a great hotel in a lovely area in Bologna. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. It was on a busy street but you couldn't hear any noise. They provided a continental breakfast in the room which was plentiful. As a vegan, I couldn't eat much of it but my partner enjoyed it. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Bologna.

Loved this place! The hi-tech front door was very impressive and the room was beautiful! It was also unbelievably peaceful for how central it is. The breakfast in the room was delicious!

We liked the funky vibe of the area, especially the weekend jazz happenings in the street. It was only a 15 min walk to Piazza Maggiore, for many tourist activities. We also enjoyed the rain shower head, after some very hot days!!

Communication was sketchy before arrival - received the door codes but then no instructions on where to go once inside the building, further information is definitely needed - other vendors sent a video. We called the contact number several times before eventually getting an answer. That said, once inside & settled, the room was great & breakfast was a nice treat. Very clean & comfortable.

Great location.

Beautiful room in the heart of Bologna with many bars and restaurants a short walk away. Room is spotlessly clean with breakfast items left in fridge. Would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a great stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Valentina was a super nice and helpful host. Loved the area as well, lovely little bars downstairs, but the appartement is super well insulated so you don’t hear a thing.

Great stay in Bologna

Valentina greeted us and was very welcoming and friendly, she showed us our room which had everything we needed including a breakfast hamper with a selection of options. The room was clean and comfortable. Valentina even kindly allowed us to store our luggage in our room before our room was ready and after check out so we could continue exploring Bologna. Location was a 15 walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the main square.

Very cool vibe. Plenty of room for my husband, myself and our grown daughter. Great breakfast each day. Easy check in and wonderful recommendations for nearby restaurants from Valentina. There’s a great gelato place just downstairs!! The surrounding area is vibrant, especially at night and it was a little louder in the room than I expected (based on other reviews). That said, it is a cool area and we would stay here again!

Nice 2 night stay

Had a lovely 2 night stay here at the Steam House. Check in was smooth and no problem. Room was large and very comfortable. Very quiet inside at night considering there was a busy bar right outside.Liked the Jules Verne theme. The complimentary breakfast left in the room was a nice touch. The walk into the old town area was about 14 minutes.Would definately stay here again.

the property is kept very nicely and is very clean - valentina was a lovely host and very helpful with our trip to bologna - this is a lovely property, one floor up (no lift) in a youthful and energetic neighborhood - easy walking to the center of bologna and convenient to the train station
