“I admit, we did miss the property as we walked past, it is an old building and has one half of a floor. The entrance is extremely secure, many doors and with local bars around you are always safe, many eyes, lol. Saying that the rooms have triple glazing, so you hear no noise from the street. Valentina the manager / owner is super friendly and very helpful, with local advice and help with booking a taxi to the airport. We had the Verne room, very nice, clean and huge, there was a second small……

“We really enjoyed our stay here at cavalieris grand! The electronic locks were a little odd at first (unlocking the main door with your code will then unlock your room door as well) but we picked it up quickly. I can see more traditional travellers finding this a little troublesome though. Check in was done online via a form and submitting photos with no contact at all with the host aside from WhatsApp so that’s something to be aware of should you book here and don’t feel comfortable with……
