"A lovely cottage in picturesque surroundings, it was an ideal stay for our son’s wedding at Bolton Castle. Anne the host, is approachable and friendly. I can highly recommend Castle View to anyone wanting to stay in the area."

"I took my two boys away without my better half for the first time for a lads adventure. This could not have been a better experience for us! The check in was a bit stressful as when we arrived we couldn't get in the pod, but this was completely the fault of Expedia, not the host. As a result we walked a short distance to the farm and the problem was sorted out immediately and we were in. It actually worked out well as it introduced us to the owners, and they could give us some local tips etc which they did, and we went to the local pub for a bar meal as a result which was lovely, and got ourselves lost on a great little walk. The pod itself was immaculate. It was spacious but compact for the glamping experience. The facilities were excellent. Shower powerful and thankfully there was a fan in the pod as it was absolutely sweltering due to the heat wave, but despite the heat, slept like a dream, in the comfy bed. The hot tub was great and it was all extremely private. We only saw our neighbours a couple of times, and that was just at the car. It's in a great location for accessing Forbidden Corner, the various castles and waterfalls, and the area itself is delightful. We plan to return, soon, with my wife and explore further. Absolutely amazing, thank you"

"Extremely well equipped cottage, with very friendly hosts who provided a generous welcome pack to get started. Next door to the newly re-opened village pub which is well patronised but not rowdy - even with the football final showing! - so handy for a drink or a meal. All in all, a great place for a short break."

"Perfect little cottage,a lovely selection welcome pack.Warm and cosy and spotless throughout. Everthing possible thought of even name tags with lawsons studio address on in case dogs get lost.Am booking again for March,I can't wait Thank you."

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer, it’s an excellent base to explore the area from."
