Vincenzo and the other front desk staff as well as the restaurant staff, were excellent! We had a wonderful time in Bolzano and the Stadt hotel Citta made it a memorable stay. We enjoyed having cocktails every evening on the square. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Terrific. Great location, lovely room, friendly staff. Caveat emptor, though - if you book through Expedia the spa costs extra. It does actually say on the booking page, but it's kind of hidden in the small print. You might think it's a better idea to book through the hotel's own website. I couldn't possibly comment on that.

We stayed here for 1 night in room.426. The hotel is in a great location. The room was tiny and impossible to maneuver with no.place to put anything. Very nice bed but it was the whole room. Also dont eat breakfast outside bc the garbage trucks arrive and the tables are in the alley where.they do the garbage. Beautiful decor throughout

Luxurious Delight

Of the five hotels my wife and I stayed in on our trip to Milan, Varenna, Padua, Venice and the Dolomites, Stadt Hotel Città in Bolzano was the most luxurious. For a few extra euros, we upgraded to a spacious room with a balcony overlooking picturesque Walther Piazza and the city’s Duomo. The hotel also had seating on the piazza for meals, snacks, drinks, and gelato. The breakfast buffet was the fanciest and most complete breakfast that we’ve had included with our room. And the complimentary apple strudel was perfect for a mid-day snack or a late-nite bite. The weekend clerk who checked us in gave us several tips for our visit, plus complimentary drinks for my wife’s birthday. The city is car- and bike-free, which made strolling so enjoyable. And the parking beneath the hotel was convenient and worth the charge.

Luxury with a View

We stayed in five hotels in nine nights of our vacation in Milan, Varenna, Bolzano, Padua, and Venice, and Stadt Hotel Citta was the most luxurious. For a 25 euro upgrade per night, we got a larger room with doors that opened to a gorgeous view of the City Center square. The room was spacious and fashionable. Our room rate included the best complimentary buffet breakfast we’ve ever had. And the complimentary apple strudel in the lobby around the clock was a nice touch. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, including outdoor seating bordering the square. For my wife’s birthday, we each received a free drink. Excellent location for exploring Bolzano.

Vom Frühstück waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Wir kennen das Haus seit vielen Jahren. Dieses Mal nur alte aufgebackene Brötchen. Schade!

Near to Train station & Duomo

The 2 nights stay at Stadt Hotel was excellent. Staffs were friendly & kind. Check in was fast, and the apple strudel welcome dessert was excellent. Piazza Walther was just 2 minutes walk & surrounding were filled with good restaurants. My first impression with Bolzano was great.

We found the location to be ideal and convenient for the Aldstadt. The hotel is superbly placed and in easy reach of the main railway. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful in range and quality with as many double espressos as we could handle! The spa was of excellent quality with great ease of use being on a booking system.

Sehr schönes Zimmer zentral gelegen

Das Zimmer war schön im obersten Stockwerk gelegen mit Blick zum Weihnachtsmarkt. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer gebucht. Das Bad war leider viel kleiner wie in der Buchung gezeigt. Die Reinigung des Zimmers war am ersten Tag leider nur oberflächlich, am zweiten Tag aber sehr gut. Das Hotelpersonal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei einem Stadtbesuch in Bozen würden wir das Hotel sofort wieder buchen.
