Hostels in Bonaire

"Important - if you are considering the Deluxe Studio room (a bit cheaper) you should realize that this is much more a motel room than a luxury resort. There is a separate one story building with these rooms literally 10- feet from the island main road. The insulation is not at a quality that solve the noise but earplugs worked. Not to mention that it's just doesn't feel great to pay as much and stay feet away from a busy street in this peaceful island. On the other side the room is overlooking the pool so people on their pool chairs are just outside the room so for privacy you need to close the curtains all the time. If you get the penthouse rooms. It's a nice hotel. If you get the studios, it's a ripoff."

"Clean rooms, air conditioning and fans functional. Make sure to bring bug spray as there was a few mosquitoes in the room every day (no fault of the resort). Restaurant was great and staff were very friendly! There's some parking (tight squeeze) attached to the property, otherwise there's plenty of spaces right off the street. It was easier to park off the street anyway. Pool looked very nice but my fiance and I spent our entire days at all the beaches. It was easy to get new beach towels and there's even an equipment wash area to clean off your snorkel or scuba gear. Bachelor's Beach is right across from the resort. Overall we loved staying here and would definitely recommend/ return! My only recommendation would be to add additional lighting near the entrance steps for safety."

"Sewer smell that lasted a few days, noisy, no water one morning and they didn't clean our property at all the entire time we stayed. Poor management and policies. Villa was okay with Will not stay here again. "

"We absolutely loved our stay and the Delfins Beach Resort in Bonaire. It was exactly what we were looking for – a beautiful property right on the beach with such a chill and relaxing environment. The restaurants were great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The snorkeling was absolutely incredible and we enjoyed land sailing as well while we were here. We were also rewarded for being a Hilton member. Highly recommend this resort."

"My experience with Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort and booking through Expedia was extremely disappointing. First, the hotel is not worth the money. The property is outdated and in serious need of upgrades. The photos online make it appear much nicer than it actually is. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard. To make matters worse, I cut my trip short because the stay did not meet expectations. Even though I checked out early, Expedia and the hotel refused to refund the unused night. That type of customer service is unacceptable, especially when guests are clearly dissatisfied with the quality of the stay. Booking through Expedia made the situation even more frustrating because you get stuck between the hotel and the booking company with no real resolution. I would not recommend booking this hotel or using Expedia for this type of reservation. If you value your money and your vacation experience, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I am currently filing a dispute for the unused portion of my stay."
