Holiday getaway

Absolutely loved this gorgeous home! So much to do including canoeing, fishing, and going on hikes nearby. Very clean house and accurate description. Would highly recommend!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property was perfect for us as we have a boat. We were quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the house, the very dirty BBQ we couldn't use and the Jetty was completely un useable. Leith was an absolute pleasure to deal with when we had to call her and tell her about problems with the house. Overall the upstairs of the house was great once we had cleaned it and plenty big enough for all 8 of us who stayed. I highly recommend going to the Bonnie Doon Hotel for a meal.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group used Dawn Cove as a base for a snow hiking adventure, and it was ideal. It's in a great location (on the lake), has plenty of room, is really well equipped, and the proximity to the snow was perfect for us. In addition, MHL was very helpful (prior to our trip) responding to questions and providing valuable advice. Our crew enjoyed themselves, and I'm very grateful.

The house showcased excellent view, a moving picture of Lake Eildon by the window.We chose this place as our getaway location for our day trip to the snow! —2 nights stay wasn’t long enough to truly enjoy the sceneries and the beauty the township Bonnie Doon has to offer! WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN FOR LONGER STAY — we’ll bring our own boat for fishing next time!The layout of the house gave our family of 8 the perfect space to chill by the fireplace lounge or hangout in the games area downstairs; perfect entertainment for all ages, toddlers to teenagers to young adults to young-at-heart!Cockatoo crew and verandah by the lake, lakeside BBQ and fully equipped kitchen — what a warm and cozy place to stay.Thank you for giving our family a memorable and dreamy experience in such a homey holiday house!
