Ski Trip

This place was amazing! My friends and I went snowboarding at Sugar Mountain and it was a 20 min drive from the mountain. We were able to cook every meal and had everything we needed.

A True Blessing

Weekend getaway

It was a lovely stay for the month of July. We made a trip to Grandfather Mountain. The weather was perfect. Unfortunately our trip was to short to do all that the community has to offer. We did walk down to the pool and recreational areas. They were well kept. Folks seem to be enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend this community.

Great Anniversary

Came to get away for our 39th anniversary. We wanted peace and quiet rather than hustle and bustle and that’s what we found. Very quiet, very little traffic. We enjoyed walks around the lake and trails by the creek. A great place I highly recommend. House was furnished with anything you could possibly need. Thanks

Cozy quiet place on the mountain

I loved this property. It is cozy and has a bathroom with tub as well as another toilet off a bedroom, which to me was a bonus. Lots of space outside on three sides of the house to relax and enjoy the outdoors too. We made use of the front porch swing in the mornings when it was cool out. Nice that the kitchen does have essentials and I didn't have to run to the store for those. Nice owner who is quick to respond.

memorial day weekend

The cottage itself was nice and adequate for our needs (a quite weekend away) Housekeeping was something to be desired. Had some nice outside areas, covered front porch, side patio and rear deck, but took some work to get them cleaned up because of all the surrounding vegetation debris. The vegetation is nice because it gives you a little more feeling of privacy even though the houses are very close together but it does make a mess. The area is very nice. there is a nice pool, a beautiful lake with a beach area. Limited selection of restaurants close by if you like to eat out . All in all, it was a nice weekend.

Love the peace, the coziness and amenities of this cottage in Linville Land Harbor. Quirky roads all tangled here and there and the very individual cottages make it even better. A nice morning with coffee on the porch swing is my favorite part of the stay.

This was a nice, relatively inexpensive, place to stay close to the local attractions: Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, Moses Cone Manor, etc. Would stay again.

Cute Place, Great Location

Beautiful surroundings

House was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated. Kitchen contained everything needed for cooking. Host was very friendly. The pool and beach were nice, weather permitting. There were charges of 20 /day for fishing. Fishing was poor, not stocked in some time. There was a fee to use the dog park. A permit was needed (and unavailable)to leave a boat by the lake. The stream was more than a mile from the house, as were all facilities. Mountain Weather was very rainy daily, afternoon thunderstorms were common.The area including surrounding towns is densely populated.
