"A 5min walk to White Beach, no traffic noise, it's a small place so the pool and dining are are never really crowded, the rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and attentive. The only negative thing about the Strand is that it's on "Diniwid Beach Road" which doesn't actually go to Diniwid beach and because it's such a small place a lot of the taxi drivers don't know about it. Just keep your phone out with Google maps on it and make sure they take the right turn off from the Boracay highway...
