Excellent Location But More Attention To Detail Needed To Justify Price
Good Points First: Excellent Location. Prompt and Courteous communication with Eva before and during holiday. Apartment was a good size.Some of the fittings were appropriate for a five star apartment eg tv, dishwasher, new iron etc. However, the accommodation fell short of 5 star in several areas. We were surprised that in the middle of a heatwave we were not provided with even a bottle of water in the fridge. Having travelled extensively over the last 30 years we have never encountered no welcome pack at all.There were only five hangers between 2 people for hanging clothes (Eva rectified this and brought 8 more) No AC so we relied on 2 fans, one of which had very little output, until Eva brought another fan which my husband had to put together with a pair of tweezers! Some of the decor was a bit shabby. There were several extension plugs and it was not always easy to plug items in to recharge. We had expected 2 full bathrooms from the on line description but instead found 2 shower rooms plus 1 separate toilet. This needs to be made clearer. The apartment has 2 bedrooms but only one wardrobe in the living room with no space to hang long clothes. The Apartment decor could benefit from updating. Bearing in mind that we are comparing this to other (less expensive) apartments in Europe which did justify the five star billing I can only think we were paying primarily for the location.
