This Ramshill property is a house not condominium with newly renovated kitchen. Legendary Ramshill Resort withTom Fazio golf course was rated 3rd in CA (behind Pebble Beach and SpyGlass, of course). Golf course has breathtaking mountain views and is very tranquil.
Mountain vistas an trails surround the Borrego Valley. Explore the incredible desert flowers in spring and the wonderfully mild fall weather!

The night skies are indisputable. Borrego is a "dark skies" valley, which means very limited lighting, availing you to star and Meteor gazing for hours. 2 car garage for your use as well.

All house amenities, large common pool and spa just down street. Pickle ball and Bocce ball available as well. Many walking and hiking trails on premises, and of course, Borrego Springs is known for its natural beauty and hiking trails.
Star gazing, meteor showers are amazing!! And occasionally the international space station will zoom by.
Relax with you mo morning coffee on the back deck with amazing amazing views to the east tons to explore; obviously a world-class golf and two Olympic size swimming pools right down the street, heated for your enjoyment. Very good restaurants and grocery stores nearby for your convenience.

Third time and still a charm. Had a great stay even though weather was very toasty. Enjoyed morning coffee with a clear view of the sunrise. Pool area was like a private resort.The Host provides a very nice home: clean, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable setting. Check-in/check-out process is easy, and Host is quick to respond to questions. Looking forward to next stay.

The property is located in a gated community on a golf course, with beautiful desert views. The outdoor area is very enjoyable, featuring a covered patio with seating to relax and take in the scenery. However, the barbecue was not very clean and appeared somewhat worn. The bedrooms are spacious, with good storage and comfortable beds, although the pillows were stained. The bathrooms could benefit from some updating. The kitchen was well equipped, but we did experience an issue with small ants, even though no food was left out on the countertops. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this property to travelers who are not overly concerned with minor details.

Second Stay this Year

Had a terrific time. Chad provides a great home in a great location. Saw lots of nature from the backyard: birds (hawks, quail, ducks, etc), bunnies, and more! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We were fortunate to stay during a full moon. Anazing view of the valley from the house. Again, as my last review earlier this year, the owner communicates and answers questions, and is very accommodating. I'm looking forward to my next stay! Thank you :-)

Great Getaway Home

Very welcoming home that is comfortable, clean, and includes a well-stocked kitchen (dishes, utensils, etc.). Location provides terrific views of the sunrise (great for enjoying morning coffee) and sunsets (great for enjoying a glass of vino). Host is friendly and I look forward to staying here again.

Pleasant Stay--Beautiful Location

We enjoyed a pleasant two-week stay in this nicely furnished home located in the beautifully landscaped Rams Hill Golf Club. The recently renovated kitchen has a new stove, microwave, and dishwasher and is more fully equipped than most short-term rentals. It offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. This cozy home comes with access to a large pool complex with a large regular pool, an expansive lap pool, and a hot tub. We were the only users of the pool area for much of our stay.

Great place for vacation

We spent a month in this lovely home. The accommodations were very comfortable, but the most outstanding thing about the property is the location. The view is absolutely fantastic. We ate in most nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an assortment of basic supplies. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to store our stuff. My only criticism was the rug in the bathroom, but the owner explained that he is replacing it with tile next month. We hope to return next year.

Views Forever

This was a lovely view property in beautiful Rams Hill. It was a great fit for our children and grandchildren over Christmas. It definitely needs some love, and I understand the kitchen will be renovated soon, which will be great, but if you are a stickler for super clean, you might not be happy. Hopefully the carpets will be cleaned/replaced, and the bathroom tub situation needs to be addressed. The master closet is perfect for a baby to be in a pack and play! The views from the patio and master are amazing!

Owner was really responsive via text and email. We gave him suggestions regarding quality/thoroughness of current services employed; sounds like he is willing to pass along suggestions. Really quiet and secure community; beautiful views (day or dusk) and close to ABSP. Well worn door screens (tracks need cleaning and new screens) but they work with a little muscle. Owner is in process of updating. So, other than cleaning services that was not under 100% under constant supervision of owner, great place for R&R.

Excellent Property!

Other reviewers have mentioned the utterly FANTASTIC VIEW from the patio, but I also want to talk about how really pleasant the rental itself is because the online pictures really don’t do it justice. First of all, it was extremely clean when my husband and I arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking any and all meals if you wish, and the living room is quite comfortably arranged. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms; one bathroom attaches to the master suite and the other is just outside the second bedroom. We stayed in the master suite and the bed was excellent. The master bath has a walk-in shower and soaking tub and also two separate sinks in the master bath vanity. The second bathroom has a full tub/shower combo---with skylight. The washer and dryer are easy to use, as is the television. Four people could comfortably be accommodated here. We had a wonderful stay in Borrego Springs, and hiked every day knowing we could come “home” to a rental like this!

We booked a 2 month stay. Very little information on the listing but we were familiar with the location (stayed at other units here many times) No introductory email prior to our arrival. After three emails received the address and ‘key is under the mat’. Security desk was unaware we were coming and held us up while they reached owner to procure required paperwork. Key was under the mat but unit was a mess- not cleaned after previous guests. We had to vacate several times for work to be done. It was obvious there hadn’t been a deep cleaning in some time. We requested repairs to two faucets and the garbage disposal (they were leaking so badly that water was pooling on counters and in cabinets). Requested cleaning and pest control for bugs in the house and black widows in garage. Surface cleaning, pest control and plumbing was done. He reimbursed us for some Lysol wipes and cleaning supplies, but not all. I spent hours cleaning cabinets, walls, doors, and the sticky cabinet handles and door pads that had exploded from heat and replaced them (75). Once the main issues were resolved we were able to enjoy our time in Borrego. We left the place in much better shape than we found it and suggested some much needed cleaning and repairs. We hope he at least really cleans the carpet and adjusts cabinet doors for the next renter. Carpet (especially in the bathroom) is disgusting. He was responsive but sarcastic, then dismissive.
