The apartment is in a small alley between a few comedy and night clubs. The noise on the street until 3 am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is very very loud. However, the location is convenient as it is a few blocks from Boston Commons and many shops/restaurants and T stops. So during weekday day time hours, it is a fine area. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has enough wares to make a casual dinner but very limited cutlery and no oil/spices. Paid laundry in the basement. The air conditioner units in the windows are not properly sealed so they let in a lot of noise. I would recommend this place for a short term stay during the week day where you plan to eat out more than eat in. The neighbors on the 2nd floor were a bit heavy footed and seemed to be up at all hours. So, keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper!
