「This was a repeat visit and the cabin was as great as it was before. Perched on a bluff overlooking a bend in the James River, the cozy log cabin provided a wonderful winter retreat for our family of 5 adults. Elizabeth is a great host, the directions were spot-on, and the bedroom are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Thoroughly enjoyed it once again.」

「A perfect getaway to celebrate the holidays! We visited Eagles Rest with my one month shy of 90 year-old mother, and two adult kids. We appreciated the welcoming amenities and meticulously clean and cozy atmosphere! Having two bedrooms on the primary floor was helpful for older guests, and the loft suite was beautifully private!
